NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

The Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative #618 (SCAESIC #618) maintains special education records for students who have received special education services through this entity for a period of at least five (5) years after the student’s services have ended with SCAESIC #618 because they are no longer needed to provide services to the student.

This serves as notice that, after that time, the special education records for students identified above will be destroyed. If you are a student who received special education services through SCAESIC #618 or are the legal educational decision-maker (or guardian) for such student and wish to obtain those special education records prior to their destruction, please contact the SCAESIC #618 at 316-794-8641 or at 620 Industrial, Goddard, KS 67052.

The Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative #618 will maintain a permanent record of each student’s name, address, phone number, grades, attendance, classes attended, grade level and year completed.
